Lucia Mingle this Friday (the 13th)

Lucia Mingle this Friday (the 13th) at Johanna's in Stokes Valley! There will be Glögg, saffron bread, gingerbread snaps and other yummies, we will also show the Swedish lucia live on TV. Midsummer/Midwinter - Lucia

In Sweden our family and friends are celebrating Midsummer this weekend...
What better way to cure the midwinter blues than coming along to our Lucia Celebration this evening?

If you have not yet got tickets - don't despair - you can pay at the door (but please don't be late!)

When: Today Saturday 22nd June 2013
Where: Johnsonville Community Hall, 3 Frankmoore Avenue, Johnssonville
Time: 5 pm (Please don't be fashionably late for this event - you will miss out!)
Cost: $5 for children, $15 for adults

Glögg, Saffron buns, gingersnaps, biscuits, hotdogs (gold coin donation) and much more........ And yes the magician will be back - same procedure as last year. Don’t forget to bring money for our fantastic raffle as well!
SweNZ Taste will also be there with some Swedish goodies for sale!   See you there!

Lucia - 22 June - final Reminder.

Our annual Lucia Celebration is coming up. This is by far our most popular event. Glögg, Saffron buns, gingersnaps, biscuits, hotdogs (gold coin donation) and much more........ And yes the magician will be back - same procedure as last year. Don’t forget to bring money for sausages and our fantastic raffle as well!

When: Saturday 22nd June 2013 – Please note change of day, it’s on a Saturday this year again.

Time: 5 pm (Please don't be fashionably late for this event - you will miss out!)

Cost: $5 for children
$10 for members
$15 for non members
Your payment must reach us no later than Thursday the 20th of June to be regarded as pre-paid. Please use the form in our newsletter (click on this link to read our latest newsletter).

Tickets can also be purchased at the door on the day (however, not guaranteed, as seats are limited) at the cost of:
$15 per adult and $5 per child. (Please note that door sale $15 will apply to members as well).

Lucia - Not to late to join/baking needed

Thank you to the girls who turned up for Lucia practise last Sunday.
We have our 2nd and last practise coming up this Sunday the 16th June

For younger children who want to join, but are not yet able to learn the songs, please contact Joanna as we do want you to come for the dress rehearsal early on the day - Saturday the 22 June.
